30 Days to a Vibrant Spirituality Online Retreat

Day 8 - March 18
The WIT Prayer in Action

Why is the WIT prayer so important? Because you want always to be conscious that you have become Christ. Nothing you do is just you acting, just your own action. You act in partnership with Jesus. He wants to act with you, in you, and through you in everything you do. This is what it means to be a Christian—that is, to be Christ. To experience anything, you have to be conscious of it. And it is only by experiencing the Christian life that you will appreciate it enough to want to grow in it.
To grow in the Christian life, you have to be aware of what you are. That your life is divine; that you are divine; that you are never alone; that Jesus is acting with you, in you, and through you in everything you do. That you have entered into partnership with him, and he with you, to live one life together.
If you do, it will keep you aware all day long that your life is a mystery of living on the level of God. Cultivating this awareness is the first step along the path of spiritual growth. The first phase of growing into the fullness of life is to keep yourself aware of what you are and what you are trying to become. So work at it. Say the WIT prayer all day long.

Stop now and think.  Does this make sense to me?
How can I respond to what Fr. Knight is saying?
