Day 9 - March 19
Putting the Nut on the Bolt
Putting the Nut on the Bolt
What will remind you to say the WIT prayer
all day long? It isn’t just going to happen simply because you decide to do it.
You will forget. That is normal.
So, until saying the WIT prayer all day long becomes a habit, something you do automatically, you have to use something to remind you, a “gimmick.” The gimmick has to be something that works for you. It has to be a nut that fits the bolt you are using.
This means you have to find a reminder that fits your mentality, that fits into your lifestyle. What will work for you? A handkerchief on your doorknob that reminds you every time you walk through the door? Something on your telephone? Or your credit card? Your car keys? A pipe cleaner on your steering wheel? A rubber band around your wrist?
Whether you look for it or not will tell you whether you are actually choosing to make this first step toward the fullness of life.
My suggestion? Do it now.

Stop
now and think. Does this make sense to
me?
