Day 19 - April 2
Christ in Us
Christ in Us
Your mission as a Christian and as a
prophet, anointed and consecrated in baptism, is to make the word of God fully
known by making this mystery—which is Christ in you—visible.
Christ in you: this is the source and summit of your Christian life. In you Christ is “growing to full stature,” gradually bringing everything human in you into conformity with its divine counterpart in him: your thoughts into conformity with his thoughts; your desires into conformity with his desires; your way of acting as human into conformity with his way of acting as God. This is what your Christian life is all about. This is your present, seen in the light of your past and your future. You live to grow into the full realization, the full experience, and the full revelation of “this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
This is the mystery and the glory of human life on earth. This is what it means to bear witness to Christ—to announce the Good News, to be the visible sign and proof of his resurrection, to make visible his risen life in us, to live out—and up to—our baptismal consecration as prophets.

Stop
now and think. Does this make sense to
