Day 20 - April 3
With Everyone We Meet
With Everyone We Meet
The fourth nut and bolt you need in order to
grow into the fullness of life is to let Jesus express himself through you to
every person you deal with.
Yes, this is an ongoing mystical experience, and a very deep one, but it is not as “out of this world” as it may sound. In fact, it is very down to earth. And that is the key to it.
In this fourth step, Jesus Christ, the divine Word of God, “takes flesh” by expressing his divine truth and love to others in and through your human, physical words and actions. You are his body. When Jesus expresses the divine truth of God through you, in human words formed by your human lips and “sent forth” by your human breath passing through your physical vocal cords, the Word of God is being made flesh in you, for others.
This is the key mystery of Christianity: the Word made flesh in Jesus Christ—and in us who are his body today. We have seen that this is the mystery that contains and sums up all of Paul’s preaching: Christ made flesh in you. Christ speaking and acting in you as in his own body, making audible and visible the glory of God.

Stop
now and think. Does this make sense to
me?
